After Melina & Eve Torres beat Michelle & Layla in a Divas tag match, it is time for some real talk. Michelle says that this victory is a lot like Melina, completely forgettable. Layla says that we need to know who the real champion is in WWE. They challenge Melina to a unification match against Melina at Night of Champions. Michelle and Layla ask Melina if they have a deal.

Melina says that she figured they were going to propose something like that, but she will accept only if it is a lumberjack match. Michelle and Layla accept the stipulation. All the Divas come out to show Michelle and Layla who the lumberjacks are.

Ted DiBiase with Maryse versus John Morrison versus Randy Orton
Orton looks at Sheamus and he gets off his throne. DiBiase kicks Morrison and sends him to the floor. Orton blocks a punch and Orton with punches of his own. Orton with a European uppercut and Morrison trips DiBiase. Morrison with a double jump round kick to DiBiase before he returns to the ring. Orton with a side head lock and shoulder tackle for a near fall. Orton returns to the reverse chin lock. Orton with a shoulder tackle but Morrison with a kip up and drop kick for a near fall. Orton throws Morrison over the top rope and that means that DiBiase is back in the ring and he kicks Orton and gets a near fall. DiBiase with kicks to Orton. Ted with more kicks in the corner.

Orton with kicks and punches. Orton with more kicks but Ted with the rebound clothesline. DiBiase with a neck breaker to Morrison for a near fall. Ted punches Morrison but Morrison with a jawkbreaker. Orton with clotheslines to Ted and Morrison and then he gives each man a power slam. Orton gets fired up and then he kicks Ted and tries for the IEDDT but Morrison tries for the springboard round kick. Orton ducks and Morrison rolls to the floor as Orton hits the IEDDT and he sets for the RKO with push ups. Ted escapes the RKO and Morrison with a leg lariat. Ted sends Morrison over the top rope to the floor. Orton escapes Dream Street and Morrison tries for a springboard move but Orton with an RKO for the three count.

Winner: Randy Orton
After the match, Ted tries to attack Orton but Randy is too fast and then gives Ted an RKO.

Melina, Eve and Gail Kim vs. Maryse, Jillian and Alicia Fox
Back from commercial and we see stills from SummerSlam where LayCool attacked Melina. Out comes the team of Eve, Gail Kim and WWE Divas Champion Melina to the ring. Out next is Maryse, Alicia and Jillian. We see Jon Lovitz sitting behind the announcer’s and he’s in love with Maryse. Gail and Maryse start the match off. Back and forth until Gail hits a 2 count. Gail ties Maryse up in the corner and tags in Melina. Gail holds Maryse while Melina hits a big bronco buster in the corner. Maryse rams Melina back in the corner and distracts the ref. Maryse drops Melina with a kick and gets a 2 count.

Alicia comes in and hits a Northern Lights suplex on Melina for 2. Melina breaks out of a hold and drops Alicia. Eve and Jillian are tagged in. Eve with two dropkicks and a scoop slam. The Divas fight to the outside. Eve kicks Jillian in the head and goes to the top. Jillian slams Eve off the top rope and pins her for the win.

Winners: Maryse, Alicia Fox and Jillian Hall

Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse vs. Mark Henry
The match never officially takes place as all members of The Nexus, apart from Barrett, attack Henry on his way to the ring. Come says it seems Nexus are targeting possible Team WWE replacements.

Divas Summertime Spectacular – Maryse & Jillian vs. Eve & Gail Kim vs. The Bella Twins
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov are the Guest Referees. The divas enter on a huge inflatable water slide and the ring is decorated like a beach. Gail hits Eat Defeat on Maryse, Jillian dumps Eve and Gail from the ring, a Bella then hits a crossbody from the top rope on Jillian for the victory. After the match, Tamina appears in the ring, she gets up close and personal with Santino preventing him from leaving, she eventually lets his and slaps him on the a$$ as he walks past. Santino gets a smirk on his face as he leaves, Tamina is in the ring watching him.

Winners: The Bella Twins

Great Khali with Runjin Singh versus Ted DiBiase with Maryse
Khai misses a punch but Ted connects but has no impact. Khali with kicks and elbows in the corner followed by a chop and Ted goes down. Ted with a drop kick to the knee and then he puts Khali in a front face lock. Ted gets picked up by Khali and sent to the mat. Khali with a clothesline but Ted goes to the corner to avoid a chop. Khali grabs Ted by the throat and then the referee is distracted by Maryse and that allows Ted to take advantage and he punches Khali.

Wade Barrett and Skip Sheffield come to ringside and Ted gets distracted and Khali with a chop to the head. Khali with the Khali Krush and Ted is out.

Winner: Great Khali

Ted Dibiase Jr & Maryse Backtage with Edge
Backstage Edge says on the one hand he can’t wait for SummerSlam and get back at Nexus. On the other he wished you (Ted) was on his team. Camera opens up to show Ted and Maryse. Cena told him he had this great plan. Yes, Khali’s great and powerful, but he’s clumsy, uncoordinated and not that bright. Maryse says they can’t understand him when he talks, then she speaks in French. Ted says after his match maybe Cena will realize Khali and Morrison shouldn’t be on the team. Edge agrees. Otherwise he’ll have to force Cena’s hand and take Khali out himself. Edge walks off, right past Singh who heard it all.

Ted Dibiase Jr /w. Maryse vs. John Morrison /w. R- Truth On Commentary
They lock up, Morrison backed into a corner. At announce they got talking about Maryse. R-Truth says he’s out there to support Morrison and that’s it. Maryse grabs Morrison’s ankle, distracting him so Ted can attack. Ted stomps Morrison down in a corner. Morrison rolls out and Ted on him with punches. Ted pins for two, then grinds on Morrison’s face with the side of his arm. Ted pins Morrison for two. Headlock on Morrison in the center of the ring. Morrison punches out, but Ted punches back. Ted gets nasty verbally and Morrison fought back with sick punches and then a dropkick. Morrison rushes Ted in a corner, but Ted gets a foot up. Morrison nails Ted with an enziguri. Maryse up on the apron to distract, so R-Truth to his feet. Ted pins Morrison, feet up on the second rope. R-Truth pushes Ted’s feet off the ropes. Ted pie faces R-Truth through the ropes. Ted nails a drop toe hold, sending Morrison face first into R-Truth on the apron. Ted pins for three.

Eve Torres vs Maryse (w/ Ted DiBiase)

Maryse talks smack to Eve and gets piefaced for her trouble. Maryse kicks her in the stomach then charges at her and hits a kneelift on the ropes. Maryse whips Eve into the corner but Eve fights back and kicks Maryse in the head from the middle turnbuckle. Eve gets down and pins Maryse for the win, and Maryse has her foot on the ropes, but the ref never sees it!

Ted starts yelling that her foot was on the rope and gets into the ring and yells at the referee. They argue back and forth about what happened until John Morrison runs down and jumps on Ted and starts punching him. Ted tries to get up but Morrison kicks him in the jaw and goes up top to hit Starship Pain. Maryse checks on Ted as Morrison stares back at them from the ramp.

Winner: Eve Torres

Ted DiBiase comes to the ring with Maryse. We see footage from last week when Maryse distracted John Morrison to allow Ted DiBiase to win the match.

Ted introduces the Million Dollar Couple, the most powerful couple in the WWE. Ted says that he is talking about himself and the briefcase. He tells Maryse that when he wins Money in the Bank, he will shower her with gifts. Ted says that he will give himself the ultimate gift because he will win the WWE Title.

John Morrison comes out and he interrupts Ted. Before John speaks, he stops on the stage and does his slow motion pose. John tells Teddy not to waste time showering Maryse with gifts because the French do not shower.

Maryse gets outraged and yells at John in French.

John translates for Maryse and then tells Maryse not to kill the messenger. Maryse tries to slap Morrison but Morrison blocks it. Ted attacks Morrison and tries for Dream Street but Morrison blocks it and hits an enzuigiri. Morrison kicks Ted and then he looks at Maryse before trying the corkscrew split legged moonsault but Maryse pulls DiBiase out of the ring and Morrison lands on his feet.

Back from the break and out comes John Morrison. Cole says he got an e-mail from the GM moments ago to setup this first match of Money in the Bank competitors. Out next is his opponent, Ted DiBiase. Ted has Maryse at his side.

I missed the first part of the match but Ted gets an early 2 count after striking first when the bell rang. They go back and forth now. Morrison with a roll-up. Morrison with right hands and then a big clothesline. Morrison with a dropkick and another 2 count. Ted catches Morrison with a scoop slam for a 2 count of his own. Morrison with an enziguri kick and both men are down. Maryse gets up and puts on Morrison’s fur coat. She gets on the steps and distracts Morrison. Ted pokes Morrison in the eye. Morrison fights back but gets hit with Dream Street. Ted covers for the pin and the win.

Maryse and Alicia Fox versus Eve Torres and Gail Kim
Alicia with a kick and punches to Eve but Eve with forearms. Eve with a kick and sunset flip attempt but Alicia blocks it and Alicia with a knee to the head. Alicia with a forearm followed by an Irish whip and running knee into the corner. Alicia with a jumping mare for a near fall. Maryse tags in and she kicks Eve and pulls Eve’s hair to keep her from making the tag. Maryse with a near fall. Maryse sends Eve into the turnbuckles. Alicia tags in and kicks Eve. Alicia with an Irish whip but Eve moves on a charge into the corner and Gail is tagged in. Gail with clotheslines and a rana. Gail with forearms but she counters a tilt-a-whirl back breaker with a lateral press. Gail with a drop kick and Alicia goes to the floor. Alicia sends Eve into the apron. Gail with a forearm to Maryse but Alicia attacks Gail from behind. Alicia with a scissors kick for the three count.
Winners: Alicia Fox and Maryse
